Description
This Humpback calf was photographed in the Bay of Fundy, off St. Andrew, New Brunswick. The boat crew said it had already been entangled in fishing gear, and struck by a boat, but it still came close enough to our boat for us to get a good look. You can see some scars on its back. It even breached, and I missed the shot...AGAIN!! The only reason I didn't feel too bad was, one of the boat crew members said she had seen breaches all season, and that was the first time she had gotten a photo. Try, try again!!
